In 2016, Bitglass conducted an automated analysis of 100,000 companies’ cloud apps to determine adoption rates of Slack, G Suite, and Office 365. Using G Suite and Office 365 as proxies for cloud adoption, Bitglass was able to uncover cloud-usage statistics for industries ranging from technology to agriculture.
